The title might be corny, but the day was great. Kean had his second belt test this weekend. He has shown such improvement and dedication to Karate. Dan and I could not be more proud of his accomplishments. This time he had to perform three different skills in order to receive his orange belt. It was an extra special test as his best friend since preschool Olivia and her dad joined us for the test. After testing he and Olivia went swimming for the afternoon. Kean had another special guest, my best friend Kathy from New Hampshire. He had quite the cheering section.
We also learned that Kean has been nominated for Lil Dragon of the Year. This is a terrific honor since only 5 students from both schools have been nominated for this award. Kean will be recognized at an awards ceremony in December.
