I was lucky to have my best friend Kathy come and visit from New Hampshire or New Hampster as Kean calls it. We had a great week, lots of lunches, dinners and shopping. Kathy and I met while teachers ten years ago. Our families quickly became friends and we shared many holidays together. Their family has grown to three children, ages 9, 7 and 5. Three years ago, she and her husband found a terrific opportunity for their family to move back east where both of their families live. We sadly sent them on their way, but with the promise to stay friends. Kathy and I talk almost every morning while I drive to work. Kean and I travelled to see them two summers ago and are looking forward to a trip again this summer.
