So many unanswered questions from our house were all answered at Taelyn's music performance. Taelyn's class performed an adorable jungle song - answering the question why she started saying "hip hop yo" all of the sudden. They had been practicing the song for months and that was her favorite part and she would just throw it out now and then making us all laugh and wonder where she had learned such a cute phrase.
Second unanswered question came when the after school dance class performed. Taelyn had been part of an after school dance class and they learned two dances to do at the performance. For a couple weeks Taelyn would sing "fruit loops, fruit loops" while doing dance moves. As soon as the music started Dan and I starting laughing as we realized "fruit loops" was really "Footloose." Making so much more sense.
