Christmas 2011

For the first time in a number o years my parents were in WI to celebrate Christmas with Sarah and her family.  We were thankful that they could all be together for the holiday this year, although we did miss them!

Christmas Eve was celebrated at Neil and Eve's house with Aunt Sue, Uncle Wally and our good friend Chris.  It was a relaxing and laughter filled evening.  Kean played some terrific piano songs for us which was enjoyed by all!

We went to Christmas Eve service and enjoyed an early service which is non traditional for us.  Kean has been to the 11 p.m. service for many years, but mom sure liked being in bed earlier.

The company was wonderful and anytime with family should be treasured.

Christmas Day Neil and Eve came around 11 a.m. and the kids had waited so patiently all morning to open presents.  They took a nice long bath, watch movies and ate yummy donuts.

Santa had left clues under the tree which led the kids around the house to find gift bags with letters in them.  Once they had collected the letters the kids had to figure out what Santa had left for them as a present....a trampoline!  So much fun all afternoon, including Taelyn in her footed zipper jammies and a purple tutu.

Kean got the skateboard and archery set he wanted.

Taelyn got a new babydoll and a happy napper.

Everyone had a relaxing day and played games all afternoon.  As always it was sad when the day came to an end.
