Thank You Dan

Thanks to Dan for planning the most amazing birthday celebration for me on Sunday.  He had been planning, plotting and STRESSING for a couple of weeks as the weather was not cooperating with his many ideas.  We have been having gorgeous sunny 70 degree weather, but on Sunday it was predicted to rain all day and be in the 50's - cold for us AZ folk.  

On Sunday we all got up and packed a picnic lunch and loaded into the car.  Dan droves us about an hour South of Tucson to an area containing an old mining town.  We travelled along a dirt road through some amazing scenery.  We saw a ton of wildlife and a number of old mines.  It was awesome!  The day was rain filled, except for our picnic lunch.  The kids were fabulous and Kean especially enjoyed all the old mine shafts.   It was one of the best birthdays I have ever had!  I love surprises!!!  Thanks Dan for taking the time to plan a wonderful family memory for my birthday.
